HAVANA. The 2019 Pan-American Road Championship will take place from April 29 to May 5 in the municipality of Ismiquilpan, Hidalgo, Mexico, confirmed to this edition by the President of the Pan-American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), José Manuel Peláez.

From the competitive point of view, the 2019 Pan-American route will start its program with the time trial events for the ladies, sub 23 and elite categories, on May 1.

On May 2, Hidalgo will host the UCI (Charing) exchange platform, which will be attended by the President of the International Cycling Union, the Frenchman David Lappartient, who will also preside over the COPACI Congress, which will be attended by the COPACI Congress. presidents of national federations and their respective delegates.

The competitive program of the continental event will resume on day 4 with the road race for the under 23 and ladies, while the highlight of the contest will be on Sunday, May 5 with the race for the elite.
