In a demanding finish, Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) claimed his second win in the 2025 Vuelta a España, winning the 10th stage, which ran from Sendaviva Nature Park to El Ferial Larra Belagua and featured 175.3 kilometers of mountainous terrain.

The Australian cyclist, who won by attacking his breakaway companions, maintained his pace on the final climb and held on well to reach the finish line alone and celebrate another victory, the fourth for his team. 35 seconds behind him, Spaniard Pablo Castrillo (Movistar Team) managed to take second place, and Javier Romo, another rider from the Telefónica squad, came in third.

The group of favorites finished 1:05 behind the breakaways, with Briton Tom Pidcock (Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team) taking the sprint, beating Italian Giulio Ciccone (Lidl-Trek), while Dane Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) entered the stage in 11th place to take the red jersey from Norwegian Torstein Træen (Bahrain Victorious).

As for the Colombians, Harold Tejada (XDS Astana Team) from Huila, who was part of the large breakaway, finished 13th in the group of “General Contenders.” Meanwhile, Zipaquirá native Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) saved the day, qualifying in 18th place, 1:42 behind Vine.

The Spanish tour will continue this Wednesday with the eleventh stage, a leg-breaking 157.4-kilometer day around Bilbao, including seven categorized climbs.
