The President of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), José Manuel Peláez, sent congratulations to all the mothers of cycling in America, on the occasion of the celebration this second Sunday of May, in most of the countries of our continent: Mother’s Day.

In an official publication in his social networks, Pelaez recognized the love for the sport that cycling mothers, coaches, judges, federations and journalists leave behind, to whom he expressed admiration and affection with his words.

WORDS OF CONGRATULATIONS

The admiration and affection for the mothers who practice cycling grows this second Sunday of May. It extends not only to cyclists, but also to coaches, judges, federation members, journalists and all those who love our sport in the same way that they are examples of mothers.

There could be many examples to mention on a day like today. From that cyclist who competes and dedicates her medal to that son she left sick at home; to those who dedicate hours and hours to training or cycling tasks and then come to fulfill household chores with the same passion.

On behalf of the Pan American Cycling Confederation I send you today the greatest of affection; I wish you the greatest happiness for being a mother; and I give you a family hug, but always in debt for how much you give with your daily walk.

Congratulations to all the mothers! Cycling in America owes you a monument! CONGRATULATIONS.
