Ecuadorian cyclists continue to win around the world, to the titles won by Harold Martin Lopez this year, it was time to win his compatriot Cristian David Pita (Huansheng – Vonoa – Taishan Sport Team), who was crowned champion of the Tour of Yellow River 2025 in China.

The South American rider was enough to win in a spectacular way the last stage of the Chinese race, after riding 137.8 kilometers around Longjuzhen Square. Pita was followed by Sergei Rostovtsev (Shenzhen Kung Cycling Team) and Estonian Martin Laas (Quick Pro Team).

“The sacrifices are giving results, thanks for the unconditional backing and support all this is ours, thanks family and friends. Thanks to all my team for believing in me and supporting me to seek victory. I will continue fighting as long as God gives me life”, said Pita, in his social networks, after obtaining the victory.

The places of honor of the Asian race, which had no Colombian participation, were completed by the Danish Alexander Salby (Li Ning Star) and the Mongolian Tegshbayar Batsaikhan (Roojai Insurance), who finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The Panamanian runner-up in 2021, who spent three seasons with Team Banco Guayaquil, debuted his palmares, winning his first title in a UCI race.
