In a sprint finish, Diana Peñuela (Team Sistecredito) won the third stage of the Women’s Cycling Tour of Colombia 2025. The day of 114.1 kilometers passed between Armenia and Buga.

The experienced cyclist from Caldas, who achieved her second victory in the race, crossed the finish line first ahead of her teammate, María Paula Latriglia (Team Sistecrédito) and Lina Marcela Hernández (Mujeres Antioquia-Orgullo Paisa), who finished second and third.

And the control in the main group was exercised by Sistecrédito and Patobike, which in the final part began to set a strong and steady pace to chase away the attacks and take the decision of the stage to the packing, where Peñuela was the strongest.

As for the general classification, the Mexican Andrea Ramirez (Pato Bike BMC Team) maintained the advantage with her rivals and commands the positions followed by Maria Paula Latriglia (Team Sistecrédito) at 2:36″ and Diana Peñuela (Team Sistecrédito) at 2:48″.

The other leaders in the different sections are: Diana Peñuela of Team Sistecrédito, in the points classification; María Paula Latriglia of Team Sistecrédito in the special sprints; Juanita Salcedo of Boyacá es para Vivirla is the best U-23; and Andrea Ramírez (Patobike BMC) herself commands the mountains.

The Women’s Cycling Tour of Colombia will continue this Friday with the dispute of the fourth stage, another day with mountain of 132.9 kilometers between Andalucía and Santuario.
