San José, Costa Rica — The organizers of the CRC 506 Gran Fondo UCI Davivienda, part of the prestigious UCI Gran Fondo World Series circuit, confirm that everything is ready for this highly anticipated event next Sunday, August 24, 2025, on the Jacó–Quepos–Jacó route.

With the support of Family Fun – RPMTV, registration will remain open until August 20 through the website www.crc-506.com for those who wish to be part of this unique experience in the country.

The CRC 506 Gran Fondo UCI Davivienda will bring together national and international cyclists in a world-class competition, framed by the impressive landscapes of the Costa Rican Pacific.

This is the only official UCI Gran Fondo in Costa Rica and the only event in the country that qualifies cyclists for the World Gran Fondo Championships, which will be held in Lorne, Victoria, Australia, from October 16 to 19, 2025. It also has the official endorsement of the Costa Rican Cycling Federation (FECOCI).

The competition offers two categories: the Gran Fondo, with a 141.4 km course for men and women, and the Medio Fondo, with a 69.8 km course also open to both genders. Start times will be 7:00 a.m. for the Gran Fondo and 8:30 a.m. for the Medio Fondo.
