Just days before the second half of the 2025 season kicks off, the organization is already working on next year’s XCO World Cup calendar, which will have a historic start in Asia and a close in the Americas, according to initial reports.
The draft plans for the 2026 season to feature nine XCC/XCO rounds in total, compared to the ten in the 2025 calendar. The start is scheduled for May 1-3 in PyeongChang, South Korea, marking the first time the XCO World Cup has visited the country. The grand finale is expected to take place on October 2-4, also outside Europe, most likely in Canada.
From May to October and with 9 rounds, this is how the 2026 XCO World Cup calendar is being built.
After kicking off in South Korea, the World Cup will hold 6 rounds in Europe between May and August, before moving to the final block outside the continent. In addition, of the last two events, one we already know will be at the new Soldier Hollow venue in Midway (Utah, USA), as the organizers announced.
Compared to 2025, the calendar is reduced by one event and is delayed from April to May with the absence of Brazil for next year. But the provisional plan is to open and close the season outside the continent, as is the norm.
May 1-3 – XCO 1 – PyeongChang, South Korea
May 23-24 – XCO 2 – Europe
June 12-14 – XCO 3 – Europe
June 19-21 – XCO 4 – Europe
July 3-5 – XCO 5 – Europe
July 10-12 – XCO 6 – Europe
August 14-16 – XCO 7 – Europe
August 26-30 – XCO World Championships Val di Sole, Italy
September 19-20 – XCO 8 – Soldier Hollow, USA

The UCI and the organizers are finalizing the details of a definitive calendar that we will know in the coming weeks.
