Mexican Isaac del Toro repeated his feat in the 2025 Tour of Austria, masterfully winning his second consecutive stage. The mountainous stage was contested between Salzburg and Gaisberg, covering 142.9 kilometers.

The 21-year-old rider, who climbed to second place overall, crossed the finish line first with a time of 3:39:27. American Andrew August (INEOS Grenadiers) finished second, 5 seconds behind, and Austrian Felix Großschartner (UAE Team Emirates – XRG) finished third, salvaging the lead.

Regarding the other Latin American in the competition, Colombian Esteban Chaves (EF Education-EasyPost) finished 19th, 1:06 behind the winner, which put him in the top 10 overall.

As for the general classification, there were changes at the top of the standings. Austrian Felix Großschartner (UAE Team Emirates – XRG), although still in first place, only has a three-second lead over his teammate, Mexican Isaac del Toro, and a 16-second lead over American Andrew August (INEOS Grenadiers).

The Austrian race will continue this Saturday with the fourth day, the dreaded 117.3-kilometer queen stage between Innsbruck and Kühtai, which includes four categorized climbs and a 5.8-kilometer summit finish at 7%.
