The time trial stage held this Thursday saw Costa Rican Joseph Ramirez, of Colono Bikestation Kolbi, take the lead in the 2025 Tour of Chiriquí, Copa Telca.

The 19.3-kilometer stage was won by Donovan Ramirez, also of Colono Bikestation Kolbi, with a time of 23 minutes and 27 seconds, beating his teammate Joseph Ramirez by 8 seconds and Jason Huertas, of ManzaTé-La Selva-Scott, by 30 seconds, who finished third.

In the general classification, Joseph Ramirez has a total time of 16 hours, 39 minutes, and 53 seconds, followed by Alejandro Granados, of ManzaTé-La Selva-Scott, 37 seconds behind, and Sergio Arias, 57 seconds behind, all from Colono Bikestation Kolbi.

The best-placed Panamanian rider remains Bolívar Espinosa of Senafront Rali, currently eighth overall, 12:13 minutes behind the leader. Ramírez also leads the Points classification with 77 points, while Sergio Arias has been crowned King of the Mountains with 24 points. Fernando Ureña of Caminos de Omar leads the Masters category.

In the Under-23 category, Alejandro Granados of Colono Bikestation Kolbi is in the lead, and Emanuel Viane of Rali Far Express Herrera leads the Junior category.

This Friday, November 28th, the eighth and final stage, an 88-kilometer race, will take place in David Este, starting at 11:00 AM.
