MyWhoosh, the popular free virtual cycling platform, has confirmed the return of its flagship event: the MyWhoosh Championship 2025, to be held next August. Registrations will open in June, and a massive international participation is expected.

After the success of its first edition in 2023, the championship is back with a vengeance to consolidate itself as one of the key events in competitive virtual cycling. This year’s edition will distribute an impressive $1 million in total prize money, distributed equally among six categories, ensuring equal prize money for men and women.

“The goal this year is to raise the competitive bar even higher and continue to provide a fair and exciting platform for all athletes,” said Matthew Smithson, Head of Esports Events and Gaming Operations at MyWhoosh. “We are thrilled to once again bring the global cycling community together for what is already the most demanding and rewarding event in virtual cycling.”

The event will bring together the world’s best e-sports cyclists in a series of races that will test both the endurance and strategy of the participants. More details on the specific dates, the format of the races, the registration and pre-verification process, as well as the prize distribution between categories will be announced soon.

Cyclists from all over the world are invited to register and take part in this great event of the virtual calendar. For more information and updates, visit the official MyWhoosh events page or follow their social media profiles.
