The Acting President of the Paraguayan Cycling Federation, Bertha Hahn, held strategic meetings at the World Cycling Centre, including an audience with UCI President David Lappartient.

The main objective is to propose to the governing body of world cycling the establishment of the first UCI Satellite Center in Paraguay. This would allow for the training of athletes and coaches to international standards, access to development programs, and position the country as a regional cycling hub.

The meetings were highly positive and mark the beginning of a new era for Paraguayan cycling, strengthening its presence on the world stage. Topics discussed included:

– The Acting President of the FPC presented Paraguay’s vision as a regional cycling hub, reinforcing direct ties with the UCI.

– Intensive Agenda at the World Cycling Centre

Two days of technical meetings analyzing training models, infrastructure, and cooperation for South America.

The mission generated strong international interest and consolidated the country as a serious player, with a long-term vision and commitment to cycling.
