The 80th edition of Dwars door Vlaanderen will feature three Latin Americans: Venezuelan Orluis Aular (Movistar Team), Uruguayan Eric Antonio Fagúndez (Burgos Burpellet BH), and Mexican César Macías (Burgos Burpellet BH), who will be tasked with representing their region well.

The long list of favorites includes Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Premier Tech), Wout Van Aert (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), Mads Pedersen (Lidl Trek), Arnaud De Lie (Lotto Intermarché), Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step), Christophe Laporte (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), Biniam Girmay (NSN Cycling Team), and Jonathan Milan (Lidl Trek), among others.

The Flemish classic, which will not feature any Colombian cyclists, will be contested this Wednesday between Roeselare and Waregem over a 184.6-kilometer route, very similar to past editions with a flat start.

The second half of the course includes eleven short, steep climbs and six cobbled sections; the final ascent is located 9.5 kilometers from the finish. The winner of the 2025 edition was American Neilson Powless.
