The 2025 Tour of Chiriquí is about to begin, and the excitement is already palpable throughout western Panama. This event, which will take place from November 21 to 28, will be the 45th edition of the country’s most important cycling competition.

This event, which has become a regional tradition, will be held with the support of entities such as the Panamanian Cycling Federation (Fepaci), the Panamanian Sports Institute (Pandeportes), and TELCA as the official sponsor. Traffic authorities and ATTT personnel have prepared alternative routes and security measures to ensure the event runs smoothly.

The 2025 Tour of Chiriquí will feature a total of eight stages that will test the cyclists’ endurance. Some of the most outstanding stages include the closed circuit in Volcán, the demanding routes from David to La Concepción, and the classic route through San Félix. Additionally, the 19.3 km individual time trial in the Punta Tierra area promises to test the speed and strategy of the cyclists.

This year, a key aspect will be the addition of the Junior category, which will give young talents the opportunity to compete against the best cyclists in the country. This is a clear boost for the development of Panamanian cycling, paving the way for future champions.

With the participation of teams from around the world, the Tour of Chiriquí 2025 will be not only a celebration of the sport but also a platform for the growth and international exposure of Panamanian cycling.
