The Spanish team Eneicat continues to officially announce its new signings for next year. The latest addition is another South American rider, Venezuelan Lilibeth Chacón, who joins the recently signed Chilean Aranza Villalón.
“Eneicat adds one of the leading figures in Latin American women’s cycling to its ranks. Lilibeth Chacón arrives to contribute experience, leadership, and a clear winning mentality,” the European team wrote on its social media, announcing the arrival of the three-time champion of the Vuelta a Colombia Femenina (2021, 2023, and 2024).
The 33-year-old cyclist, who finished in the top 10 at the 2025 Tour of Colombia, ended the season by winning the bronze medal in the time trial at the 2025 Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho and Lima. The native of San Rafael de El Piñal arrives with an outstanding record: multiple national time trial champion in Venezuela, time trial titles, and Pan American champion.
“Her results speak to her consistency, competitive spirit, and ambition to continue improving. Today we welcome a rider made for great challenges. Welcome, Lilibeth. Let’s go for a great season,” concluded Eneicat.
