In a demanding and mountainous final, Natalia Garzón (Team Sistecrédito) was victorious in the fourth stage of the Women’s Cycling Tour of Colombia 2025, disputed between Andalucía (Valle) and Santuario (Risaralda) with a distance of 132,9 kilometers.

The young Santander-born rider won ahead of her teammate Stefanía Sánchez and Jessenia Meneses (Mujeres Antioquia-Orgullo Paisa), who came in third, 22 seconds behind the winner.

Garzón, who was the most regular in the last kilometers of the second category mountain prize, launched a forceful attack in the final stretch, which meant the victory, her fourth of the season.

“I fulfilled to the letter the strategy we had in the team and I felt strong to attack, perhaps due to the preparation I had done in mountainous terrain,” said the winner Garzón to the media after the awards ceremony.

The leader of the competition, the Mexican Andrea Ramírez came in closing the top 10 of the day at 51 seconds and remains in command of the race, with a difference of 2:24 and 2:35, over Diana Peñuela (Team Sistecrédito) and Jessenia Meneses (Mujeres Antioquia-Orgullo Paisa).

The Colombian women’s round will continue this Saturday with the fifth stage, an individual time trial of 22.4 kilometers, from the Main Park of Chinchiná (Caldas), to the Mirador de Chipre, a first category mountain prize, in Manizales.
