A total of 10 top-level casts arrived in the city of San Juan to participate in the 39th Cycling Tour of that Argentine territory, with illustrious names such as Egan Bernal, Filippo Ganna, Daniel Felipe Martínez, Peter Sagan, among other great riders.
This Monday was very exciting in San Juan because in the afternoon nine teams arrived that will be part of the best UCI Pro Series race that America will have in 2023.
At the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento airport in San Juan, the Italian National Team, TotalEnergies, Israel Premier Tech, Astana Qazaqstan Team, Team DSM, Trek – Segafredo, Movistar Team, BORA – hansgrohe and INEOS Grenadiers arrived.
San Juan welcomed them with open arms, waiting expectantly for the professional competition that will begin this Sunday, January 22.
In the next few hours it is expected that the only team that will represent Central America will also arrive on Argentine soil. This is the Panama es Cultura y Valores squad, one of the ten continental teams that will be part of the race.
The Panamanians are excited because they will debut in the Argentine capital of cycling, hometown of the Vuelta and the Vicente Alejo Chancay velodrome. This selection finished within the top-five of the Central-North American professional teams. And they achieved victories in races in Costa Rica and Guatemala.
