“Where everything begins” is the motto of this cycling race. It means that history has its starting point and it is in San Juan. And if we talk about history, this Spanish team is a reference in world cycling due to its multiple awards and recognized figures who have worn its jerseys.
With more than 40 years in cycling, the Movistar Team will visit the Tour of San Juan for the fourth time. The team won the race in 2019 with Winner Anacona. And this time it will be led by one of his brand new reinforcements for next season: the Colombian Fernando Gaviria, who has the mission of leading the traditional blue jersey team to victory.

Fernando Gaviria is the one who has won the most stages in the Tour of San Juan with eight victories. This time, together with his Movistar Team, he will seek to start his new season in elite cycling with victories.
During 2022, the Spanish members of the Movistar team stood out with the following results: Enric Mas won the Giro dell’ Emilia (Italy), was second in the Vuelta a España and in Lombardia (Italy).
