The Colombian capital will host the 2026 Pan American BMX Championships, which will take place from April 30 to May 3 at the Carlos Ramírez BMX Track, located in El Salitre Recreational Sports Park.
The event will bring together 16 delegations from across the continent in the Challenge, Cruiser, and Championship categories (Elite, Under-23, and Junior), under the supervision of authorities appointed by the Copaci and the Colombian Cycling Federation, solidifying Bogotá’s position as the epicenter of BMX in the Americas.
On April 30, rider confirmation, board distribution, and official training sessions by category will be held. Official practice sessions will continue on May 1, along with the Pan American BMX Commission (COPAB) meeting and the delegates’ technical meeting. The official competitions will take place on May 2nd and 3rd, beginning with an opening ceremony on Saturday, May 2nd at 8:30 a.m., followed by the start of the events at 8:40 a.m., with awards presented immediately after each category.
On Sunday, May 3rd, the fourth round of the Latin American BMX Cup will be held, with the competition schedule following the same format, starting at 8:00 a.m.
The prizes for the Elite, Under-23, and Junior categories (men and women) will be a Pan American champion’s jersey for first place, and trophies for first through eighth place, as well as cash prizes stipulated by the UCI, paid in US dollars, and points for the UCI world ranking.
Admission to the venue will be free, with a capacity limit of 1,500 people in the stands, ensuring access for fans to a venue that meets international technical standards.
The 2026 Pan American BMX Racing Championships and the fourth round of the Latin American BMX Cup will be broadcast on television via RCN Channel. The broadcast times will be confirmed soon through our social media channels.
With this event, the Colombian Cycling Federation reaffirms its logistical and technical capacity to organize high-level continental competitions, strengthening the position of Colombian BMX on the international calendar and promoting competitive development in all categories.
This competition, sanctioned by the Pan American Cycling Confederation, is held with the support of the Ministry of Sport, the IDRD (District Institute of Recreation and Sports), and the Bogotá Cycling League.
