HAVANA. In the context of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the founding of the Villa de San Cristóbal de La Habana, between 1 and 3 November, the Caribbean Route Championship, Class 1.2 of the UCI will take place, to which they have already brokers confirmed their participation from 25 countries in the region.
The cycling competition, enrolled in the América Tour international cycling circuit, has summoned routers of the elite and sub 23 categories, in both sexes.
Again, the Cuban capital becomes the epicenter of cycling in the region by hosting the Caribbean event, whose competitions will take place in the attractive Havana seawall.
The Brazilian Elaine Silveira will be the president of the college of commissioners who will give justice in the competition, second by the Cubans Luis Ávila and Abraham Guerra.
The organizers of the 2019 Caribbean championship are the Cuban Cycling Federation, the National Sports Institute and the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI). (Copaci Press)
