In a circuit held in Valle de la Pascua, on Wednesday the fourth stage of the Vuelta a Venezuela was held, which ended with victory for the local César Sanabria, who surpassed the Colombian Weimar Roldán, who incidentally rose to fourth place in the general , which is still commanded by Luis Gómez.

The fourth day of the Vuelta a Venezuela 2022 was held on a circuit in the Valle de la Pascua, in which the runners gave 17 laps to complete 137 kilometers of travel, on mostly flat terrain.

The peloton suffered the early attack of three runners who achieved more than a minute of lead, in an adventure that lasted eight laps. Starting the ninth lap, the peloton, led by leader Luis Gómez, caught up with them and finished the first adventure of the day.

The next break formed early, with four adventurers, later becoming one of seven, but never more than a minute ahead of the pack. The adventure lasted until the penultimate step over the finish line, at which point the large group attacked and brought down the breakaway.

The last lap was lived at pure speed and with several long-distance attacks, but everything ended up defining the pack, with victory for the local César Sanabría, who beat the Colombian Weimar Roldán, while the third at the finish line was the leader of the general, Luis Gomez.

With the result of the day, Gómez maintained the leadership and Roldán rose to fourth place, being the best Colombian.

This Thursday, July 28, the fifth part of the Venezuelan round will be held, starting in Ortíz and arriving in Puerto Cabello, on a 132.8-kilometer route on undulating terrain.
