Dante Silva and Ella Erickson (USA) each took third places today in the Junior category of the Mercedes Benz UCI-DHI World Cup which ended with flying colors in Maribor, Slovenia this weekend.
Silva in the men’s section timed a time of 3: 23.164 behind the Irishman Oisin O Callaghan who with 3: 16.100 was the winner of the test and the Portuguese Silver medalist Nino Reis with a time of 3: 22.516.
For his part, Erickson was surpassed by Leona Pierrini (FRA) and the representative of Belgium Siel Van der Velden in an event that only consisted of 4 women.
In the Elite category for men, Canadian Finn Iles stroked the podium, finishing in 4th position just 460 thousandths behind the winner of the bronze medal, in the same test Aaron Gwin from (USA) finished 6th and were the representatives of America in the top 10 of the race.
