The University Clinic of La Sábana delivered a new report on the health of cyclist Egan Bernal. The medical team made public the sixteenth statement on the morning of this Sunday to update the evolution of the Ineos Grenadiers leader.

“Right now, the patient is in the third phase of the trauma, ready to start his rehabilitation process. He has no complications and all of his injuries are stable and recovering,” the statement said.

According to the process the Zipaquireño cyclist medicated, he has been positively improving after the accident he suffered on the morning of Monday, January 24, as a result of crashing into a bus in Gachancipá, Cundinamarca.

“Because of the above, we are pleased to report that today the patient has been discharged, to continue his rehabilitation process with our institution on an outpatient basis. Today we give more meaning and strength to the words that we carry in our institution as a mission. With pride and hope we begin a new stage together with our athlete”, concluded the new medical report.
