Everything is ready in Lima to celebrate next weekend (November 13-14) the Pan American BMX Championship and the South American Championship of the same modality, after the rescheduling announced months ago due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the technical guide of the contest, the competitions will be in the categories contemplated by the International Cycling Union (UCI): Challenger and Championship, which will take place in the Costa Verde circuit, San Miguel, the same that was used for the Pan American Games Lima 2019.

The delegations will be able to arrive from November 9 to the Peruvian nation, complying with the health protocols established by the UCI and the host country, and will have days 11 and 12 to train on the track, which will host on Saturday the 13th the Pan-American and on Sunday 14 the South American joust.

The track is covered with a special compound and has a starting ramp of five meters high for Challenger and one of eight meters for Championship, in accordance with UCI regulations. The starting ramp is equipped with the Pro-Gate system.

Based on this organization of competitions in the Continent, the fair is determined by the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), the Pan American Bmx Racing Commission (COPAB), the

Peruvian National Cycling Federation (FDPC) and the Peruvian Extreme Cycling group.
