This Friday’s time trial in the third stage of the International Tour of Honduras, left the Guatemalan Gerson Toc, reinforcement of the Tío Dolmo team, as the winner and new leader of the race, after adding the times and accumulated results of all the runners.

After the 11.60 kilometer route between Comayagua-Cuesta de la Virgen, they were accompanied on the podium by Gerson Toc, the American Colin Patterson from the Voler Factory team and the Honduran Luis López from the LL-Bikemart-Ceresa club.

“Thank you to the team that gave me the opportunity to come to this event. I had felt good in the two initial stages and I thought that this was a good opportunity to use my strength and speed and win a time trial that we had studied well,” declared the winner to the Duroalpedal website, from Guatemala.

“Now all that remains is to defend this shirt and see if we can keep it until the end, as it would be a great achievement for my sporting career. We are all focused on achieving that. We’ll see,” Toc concluded.

This Saturday the strong test of Lago de Yojoa – La Barca – Lago de Yojoa – Concepción del Sur will take place with a mountainous route of 106.40 kilometers.
