The Tour El Salvador 2024 concluded on Tuesday with absolute dominance of the Swiss team Roland. Switzerland’s Elena Hartmann was crowned champion after defending the lead of the competition on the final day, which was won by her teammate Tamara Dronova.

Dronova, a member of this team, took first place in the fourth stage that left from Parque Libertad, Santa Ana, arriving at Metapan and returning to the starting point to complete 94.1 kilometers.

The winner’s time at the finish line was 2:35:08 hours, while Olha Shekel, from the Ukrainian team, finished the race in second place with a time of 2:35:08 hours and the Dutch Sylvie Swinkels, also from Roland, was third with the same time.

In the individual distinctions, Switzerland’s Elena Hartmann was the winner of the overall individual time classification after finishing the competition with 9:44:49 hours; in second and third place were her teammates, Russia’s Tamara Dronova, with 9:45:27 hours and Cypriot Antri Christoforou, with a time of 9:45:36.

The first place in the overall mountain classification also went to Hartmann, with six points. Karen González, from Team Sistecredito, took first place in the points classification, while Ángela Oro, from Be Pink, was the best junior of the Tour.

As for the 14 Colombian women who finished the Central American race, Andrea Alzate (Eneicat CM Team) from Antioquia was the best, finishing sixth, 1:02 behind the winner.
