This weekend the Colombian Association of Senior Master Cycling launched the official call for the organization from November 7 to 13 of the Track and Road Master Pan American Championship, which will be held in the cities of Bucaramanga and Barrancabermeja, under the approval of the COPACI.

“Aware of your great love for this sport, we are inviting all interested Masters Cyclists from your country to participate in this great event, we hope to have your participation in this great sports festival and in this way strengthen our ties of friendship and fellowship” , indicates the official call that reached all the national cycling federations.

The track events will be held in the city of Bucaramanga in a 250-meter cement velodrome in the open air; while the road tests will be based in the city of Barrancabermeja, a Colombian district located on the banks of the Magdalena River, in the western part of the department of Santander.

The categories to participate, ladies and men, in both modalities (Track and Route) are the following:

Master A 1: (30-34 years old) Born between 1988 and 1992

Master A 2 : (35-39 years old) Born between 1987 and 1983

Master B 1: (40-44 years old) Born between 1982 and 1978

Master B 2 : (45-49 years old) Born between 1977 and 1973

Master C 1: (50-54 years old) Born between 1972 and 1968

Master C 2 : (55-59 years old) Born between 1967 and 1963

Master D 1: (60-64 years old) Born between 1962 and 1958

Master D 2 : (65 and +) Born before 1957

As specified by the organizers, according to the number of participants per category, both on the track and on the road, the commissioners will agree and previously define the conditions and details of participation in the technical meetings.
