Puerto Rican rider Abner Alejandro González closed his participation in the 2020 Vuelta a Cantabria with a podium (3rd place) in the last stage of the traditional race in that Spanish region that takes place every year.

In this 2020 edition, the 19-year-old rider from La Moca, a municipality 132 km away from the capital San Juan, representing the Telco’m -On Clima – Oses team managed to place in 6th place in the General Classification of Special Sprints , 11th of the General Points, 16th of the U23 Individual General Classification and 28th of the Absolute General Classification where 97 runners of the more than 100 who started at the start finished.

But undoubtedly the highlight for the Caribbean runner was undoubtedly the triumph of his Team in the General Classification of this section.

The talented Puerto Rican runner’s commitments will be next weekend (September 12 and 13) when he starts at the Baranbio races on Saturday and the San Juan Segura GP the following day.
