The Tour  San Juan 2020 will be played from January 26 to February 2 of next year with 24 teams in line with six World Tour.

San Juan will be the first UCI Pro Series competition in cycling history. It is the new category that generated the International Cycling Union with the aim of strengthening the position of cycling among the largest professional sports in the World. By calendar, Argentina will have the honor of being the first. In importance it is the second category so the Tour is among the best races in the World.

There will be 24 teams composed of 7 cyclists each that will run the Tour. Six are World Tour, first category of World level. The German team, BORA hansgrohe will arrive in San Juan with Slovakian Peter Sagan as a figure. From Belgium he will disembark the Deceuninck Quick Step, top winner of the year 2019. He will run with his two figures Julian Alaphilippe and Remco Evenepoel. The latter debuted in professional cycling this year in the Argentine test. The UAE Team Emirates will compete with the dynamic duo Fernando Gaviria and Maximiliano Richeze, while the Israel Cycling Academy will debut in the top world class in the Province of Cuyana. The Movistar Spaniards will run for the third consecutive year, but it remains to know the calendar of their figures so the head of the ranks is unknown, while the French Cofidis will run for the first time to San Juan.

Five will be the Continental Professional category teams. Three are from Italy. EL Bardiani CSF, Androni Giocattoli and Neri Sottoli. From Spain, the Euskadi Foundation will be added, while from the United States the representative will be UHC Cycling Rally. The platoon will consist of nine continental teams. The five San Juan residents: Civil Association of the Virgin of Fatima Group, Puertas de Cuyo, Municipality of Rawson, Municipality of Pocito and SEP San Juan. There will also be Amore & Vitta from Latvia, Sporting Tavira from Portugal and Colombians GW Shimano and Medellin Inder. Four selections will complete the payroll of 24 teams. The local, Argentina, Russia, Italy and Uruguay.

he Tour of San Juan was positioned as one of the best on the calendar and in addition to promoting it with an inclusive competition, the Sagan Fondo will be added. What is it about? Of a race with part of bike tour that anyone can run and they will do it next to the Slovak Peter Sagan, three-time world champion. The Sagan Fondo will run on Thursday, January 30. THE TRAVEL

The first stage will begin and end at the Bicentennial Theater after a tour of the province’s levees.

The second will begin and end on Route 40, in front of the Sports City.

The third will be an individual time trial of 15 kilometers with end at the end of Punta Negra Dam.

The fourth stage will be the traditional trip on Route 150 from Jáchal to Valle Fértil.

The fifth stage will begin in Caucete and culminate in Alto Colorado.

The sixth will start and end at the San Juan Villicum Circuit after a visit to the Difunta Correa.

The seventh will be the traditional circuit of the Avenida de Circunvalación where they will turn nine times.
