Supermán López flies in Villeta! Boyacá cyclist Miguel Ángel López (Team Medellín-EPM) took victory in the first edition of the Clásica de Villeta 2023, a leg-breaking race that took place in the streets of the Cundinamarqués municipality.

The former Astana rider showed all his category from the first bars, defeating Tolima rider Andrés Camilo Ardila (Burgos BH). While in the duel for the third drawer of the podium, the Colombian-Spanish Óscar Sevilla (Team Medellín-EPM) recovered in the final ascent, winning the battle against Yecid Arturo Sierra (Liga de Cundinamarca).

The race, which premiered on the Colombian national calendar, was run at a hellish pace proposed by Miguel Ángel López, who from the second round revealed his intentions, imposing a devastating pace, to which no one could respond.

With the first and second places defined, in the last kilometers there was an interesting heads-up for third place, in which Óscar Sevilla was the strongest to take the duel, in a sprint going upwards.

The next appointment on the national calendar will take place in Bucaramanga in the month of February, in a race that promises great emotions, with the leading role of the best riders from the international peloton and from the national lot.
