HAVANA. The Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), regrets the death of Mr. Oscar Pereyra, treasurer of the Argentine Federation of Track and Road (FACPyR).

The president of COPACI, José Manuel Peláez, sent his condolences to family, friends and colleagues from Pereyra. “We always remember Pereyra as the man who never gave up his intentions and dreams, the cheerful and enterprising man, the good friend and companion,” Peláez says in his message.

“In this moment of regret we are with your family and our friends of the FACPyR”, concludes the message of the vice president of the International Cycling Union.

Oscar Pereyra spent much of his life devoted to the impulse and development of Argentine cycling, and in recent years he served as treasurer of the FACPyR. (Copaci Press)
