With the presence of 19 candidates from nine nations, a new training course for Elite National Commissaires for Road Cycling began this January 29 in Panama, which is part of the fulfillment of the Agenda 2025 of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), which attaches special importance to these preparation actions.
The course classes, which will last until February 2, are taught in Spanish by UCI international instructors Elaine Siridakys and Iverson Ladewig, who will guide the participants in this important training action that will strengthen the quality and training of our commissaires.
The National Commissaires are the first link to think about organizing national road competitions in our countries. This course will also be useful for those who wish to opt for further studies to become an international commissaire in the different modalities of cycling.
This type of activity is part of the ongoing commitment of COPACI under the leadership of José Manuel Peláez, with the aim of further developing cycling in the Americas and promote higher quality in the organization of events.
