Six Colombians and one Ecuadorian will be in the UAE Tour 2024 (from February 19 to 25), the sixth edition of this competition that is gradually acquiring much more relevance and in which UAE Team Emirates officiates as the local team, so it will be the team to beat.

These Latinos will be looking to appear in the UAE Tour, it is a complicated race, which also has a planning mostly for sprinters, so it will be a battle between them, although the mountain and the time trial will not be missing.

There are seven stages that will be seen in the UAE Tour, four are for packers, two of high mountain and a short time trial of 12 km, but it is a competition for all tastes that will start next February 19 until the 25th of the same month.

Among the Colombians, there are two bets for speed, while the chance of a mountain stage also exists with our riders, some of whom could sneak into the top 10 overall and others will serve as support riders for their leaders.

The race distributes a total of 300,000 euros throughout the week. This is a large amount, divided among all the classifications and taking into account all the stage results. The winner of the overall classification will take 35 500 euros, while each stage winner will take 6 500 euros.

The final list of participants includes illustrious names such as: Sam Bennett, Ben O’Connor, Tobias Foss, Elia Viviani, Arvid de Kleijn, Phil Bauhaus, Pello Bilbao, Iván Romeo, Pelayo Sánchez, George Bennett, Kaden Groves, Eddie Dunbar, Dylan Groenewegen, Louis Meintjes, Sam Welsford, Mark Cavendish, Fabio Jakobsen, Max Poole, Olav Kooij, Tim Merlier, Brandon McNulty, Jay Vine and Adam Yates.
