The Pan American Women’s Road Circuit 2026-2027 will begin in Uruguay with the 1st Women’s Tour of Uruguay, a category 2.2 event to be held from October 29 to November 1, 2026.

The Pan American Women’s Road Circuit is a continental series created to promote and strengthen the participation of women cyclists in all National Federations of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI) in the road discipline; to foster the development of women’s cycling through an annual series that allows riders to compete continuously and accumulate points for the UCI ranking; to establish a sustainable continental calendar that generates competitive opportunities for female athletes in America; and to contribute to the development of young female talents on the continent.

The events that make up the series are registered and approved on the UCI Road Calendar 2026-2027 in categories 2.1, 1.1, and 2.2. However, only riders, teams, and national teams from the American continent will be considered for the Pan American Women’s Road Circuit ranking.

The official individual rankings of the Circuit will be for the Elite and U23 categories. The Team and Nations rankings will be single rankings. Points will be awarded according to the category of the event and the final position obtained in the Individual General Classification of each event; U23 riders will also appear in the Elite Ranking. For the Team General Classification, the points obtained by the eight best riders of each team will be counted, while for the Nations General Classification, the points of the five best riders of each country will be considered.

In terms of awards, COPACI will present the Pan American Road Circuit Overall Champion jersey to the leaders of the Elite and U23 Individual General Classification. Likewise, the Best Team Trophy will be awarded to the leader of the team general classification, and the Best Country Trophy to the leader of the nations general classification.

The organization of the Circuit reminds that organizers do not pay registration fees to COPACI for being part of the Series; they will only pay the UCI the fees established by the UCI regulations.

After the opening in Uruguay, the 2026-2027 calendar includes events in the United States, Colombia, Guatemala, Canada, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. The Uruguayan event will be the first opportunity for American riders to earn points in this new continental series.
