The Track Cycling Nations Cup in Cali postponed Through an Official Communiqué of the International Cycling Union (UCI), this Monday the postponement of the second round of the Tissot UCI 2021 Track Cycling Nations Cup was reported, which was scheduled for the Colombian city between 3 and June 6 to come.

The reasons for this postponement came from the organizers in the face of the acute health and social crisis that Colombia is experiencing these days, related to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has not been controlled by the medical authorities at the desired levels.

The UCI, as the governing body of world cycling, confirmed that they are currently working on the search for new dates for this event, which for the moment is expected to be held after the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The first phase of this 2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup was held in Hong Kong from May 13 to 16 and for America only the American Asthon Lambie could participate, who took the gold in the individual pursuit.
