CARACAS. The Venezuelan cyclist Orluis Aular, who defends the colors of the national team, went on to lead the individual general classification of the 56th edition of the Tour of Venezuela after imposing himself on Thursday in his second stage, a 156.5-kilometer day between the localities of Los Teques and Valencia.

With a time of 3 hours, 57 minutes and 22 seconds (39.55 km / h), Aular won the sprint on arrival in Valencia by the Brazilian Edson Ponciano (Rio de Janeiro Cycling) and the local Ralph Monsalve ( Venezuela Country of Future), second and third respectively.

Thanks to his second place in the first stage and the bonuses achieved, Aular commands the general with 10 seconds of rent on Monsalve.

The Tour of Venezuela will continue this Friday with the dispute of its third stage, 177.5 kilometers between Valencia and Acarigua. (EFE)
