Stage eight of the Vuelta a España 2024 went to Primoz Roglic. The Slovenian, who also won stage four, was the strongest on the short but steep final climb to Cazorla after 159 kilometers. Australian Ben O’Connor (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team) saved the lead.

After winning on the fourth day, the three-time winner of the Iberian round won again, this time ahead of the Spaniards Enric Mas (Movistar Team) and Mikel Landa (Soudal Quick-Step), who were reported 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

As for the Colombians, the Colombian Harold Tejada (Astana Qazaqstan Team) was again the most outstanding of our team, finishing in 7th place 24 seconds behind the winner after being the most combative of the breakaway of the day. The other beetles lost more time.
