The dreaded queen stage of the 2026 Tour de Beauce was contested, and the Colombian cyclists continued to make headlines in Canada. This time, the victory went to Diego Camargo (Team Medellín-EPM), after covering 168.9 kilometers between Lac-Mégantic and Mont Mégantic.

The Colombians were once again a major force, this time on the third stage, taking a 1-2 finish. Wilmar Paredes finished second, right behind his compatriot, and American Tim McBirney (Project Echelon Racing) came in third.

The Antioquian rider Wilmar Paredes (Team Medellín-EPM) became the new leader and is now just two stages away from adding another title to his palmarès. The Medellín native snatched the lead from Briton Adam Lewis (APS Pro Cycling by Team Cadence Cyclery). Paredes now has his teammate Diego Camargo as his runner-up in the overall individual standings, while American Kent Ross (Cascadia) completes the podium.

In other classifications, Paredes also leads the points classification with 45 points, Canadian Samuel Couture (Cannondale Echelon p/b 4iiii) leads the mountains classification, and Irishman Killian O’Brien (Team Skyline) is the top young rider. Team Medellín-EPM sits comfortably in the team classification with no major threats.

The Canadian race continues this Saturday with the fourth and penultimate stage, a 7.9-kilometer individual time trial in Quebec City, world-renowned for its strong Francophone heritage.
