HAVANA. A number of participants over 200 men and women from various provinces of the country, including national teams, some foreign cyclists and six adapted, will take the start this Sunday December 9 in the Classical IV 200 km Excelencias del Motor.
As usual, the layout of the competition will cover the round trip by the National Highway from kilometer zero to 100, with a turn at the height of the municipality of Los Palacios Pinar del Rio. This distance must be covered by all cyclists who are less than 50 years old and aspire to obtain the medal “Cyclist 200 KM Excelencias del Motor”.
The time limit for arrival at the goal was set at seven hours. This time the over 50 will travel 130 kilometers, first half to the junction of Soroa, from where they will return to the place of departure and finish line. The maximum time required is six hours.
In order for this competition to be successfully developed, the Excelencias Group has the advice and support of the National Cycling Commission, the Sports Directorate of Havana, the National Revolutionary Police and the National SIUM.
Equally noteworthy is the collaboration of Castrol Cuba SA, Havana Club with its campaign “Si toma no maneje”, Ciego Montero, CubaShow, Restaurant Conde Baraca, Bar – Restaurant Jager Bull, Red Bull, bike shop Bike Master, Heineken, Triple A , antique car club “A lo Cubano”, Japanese motorcycle club “Moto 100” and “Classic English Motorcycles”.
