PACHUCA DE SOTO, HIDALGO. The UCI Platform develops this Thursday morning its agenda in one of the rooms of the Hotel Fiesta Inn of this city, with the presence of the President of the International Cycling Union, the Frenchman David Lappartient, and the one of the Pan-American Confederation, the Cuban José Manuel Peláez

At the opening of the exchange platform with the presidents and delegates of the national federations present at the XXXIV 2019 Pan-American Road Championship, the president of the Mexican Cycling Federation, Edgardo Hernández Chagoya, welcomed all the participants and made votes because attendees take advantage of this exchange opportunity to promote the development of cycling in this part of the world.

The UCI vice president, José Manuel Peláez, acknowledged the interest of the UCI in developing this type of meeting and made mention of the one held in Panama City in December of last year.

For his part, David Lappartient greeted all the participants and emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the exchanges that take place on the UCI platforms, while referring to the purpose of the UCI to eradicate doping.

During the course of the platform, interventions were made by several delegates, from the presentation of Mr. Justin Lessard, Legal Advisor of the UCI Anti-Doping Service, and Mrs. Cecilia Viscarra-Moser, Coordinator of International Relations of the entity that governs cycling in the world.
