MENDOZA ARGENTINA. Juan Pablo Doti (SEP San Juan) successfully defended his overall leadership in the eighth stage and conquered his fourth crown in the Tour of Mendoza, becoming the highest winner of the “most Argentina of the laps.” The winner of the eighth partial, played over 125 kilometers between Las Heras and Ciudad, was San Juan’s Kevin Castro (Municipality of Rawson).

In a layout with exit from the Municipality of Las Heras, the platoon rolled in a controlled train to the North Access, leaving by Pedro Pascual Segura. There an 11-kilometer circuit awaited them between the Rotunda of the Plane and the Rotonda of Independencia Street, to which they would turn on ten occasions. The movements were not long in coming and a large flight went to the command of the stage, with a difference that reached two minutes.

In this way, Juan Pablo Dotti successfully defended the yellow shirt and lifted his fourth title in the Vuelta de Mendoza, after the ones obtained in 2012, 2016 and 2017. The ‘Gaucho de Bolívar’ broke the front with Juan Carlos Ruarte and Gabriel Brizuela (3), becoming the highest winner of the “most Argentine of the laps”.
